We are excited to share that Raghava Vinaykanth Mushunuri has published his first article as part of his PhD work within the RescueDoppler project. The article is titled: “ Detection of Return of Spontaneous Circulation During Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Using Continuous Carotid Artery Doppler Blood Flow Monitored by AI in an Animal Model. ”

The transition to a new year also marked the end of patient inclusions with RescueDoppler in our multicenter study. With an ambitious goal of reaching 300 inclusions, we ended up with 285 – something we are very proud of achieving. To the study personnel, operational staff, participants, everyone who contributed, and those who included participants in the study – thank you! Raghava Vinaykanth Mushunuri, a Ph.D. candidate in the RescueDoppler project, attended the European Society of Cardiology Digital & AI Summit 2025 on November 21 in Berlin. He presented his poster titled : Real-Time Detection of Return of Spontaneous Circulation During Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Using AI and Carotid Doppler Ultrasound.

RescueDoppler participated in this year’s Resuscitation Science Symposium in Chicago. During the oral session, Guro Mæhlum Krüger presented the abstract titled: Return of spontaneous circulation immediately after defibrillation detected by continuous hands-free carotid Doppler.

This year, the RescueDoppler group was well represented at the European Resuscitation Council Congress in Rotterdam, October 23–25. Research nurses from St. Olavs Hospital, Akershus University Hospital, Nordland Hospital, and Oslo University Hospital took part. One poster from RescueDoppler was presented.
